Deuteronomy 28:37

37And you shall become aa horror, a proverb, and a byword among all the peoples where the Lord will lead you away.

1 Kings 9:7-8

7 bthen I will cut off Israel from the land that I have given them, cand the house that I have consecrated for my name I will cast out of my sight, dand Israel will become a proverb and a byword among all peoples. 8And this house will become a heap of ruins.
